Wow. I haven't been blogging since April 2007. Let's update:
April '07 - preparing for my big move into my house.
May '07 - Officially moved in. Yet not even nearly done moving.
June '07 - working, exercising, working, stressing... apparently exercising is not helping. I'm getting a bit chubby.
July '07 - back in New Orleans for Clare's wedding. Beautiful wedding. Had a blast. Got to eat at all the restaurants I've been craving for.
Mid July '07 - Vinh's grandpa is in the hospital. Vinh's gone back to Biloxi, MS to help his family out. I'm all alone.
August '07 - Holy s***! I'm not getting chubby. I'm PREGNANT!
September '07 - Thinking I'm 2 months pregnant... Ultrasound showed I'm 5 MONTHS! br>October '07 - Feeling GREAT in my 2nd trimester! I am proudly organizing a baby shower. Can't wait for my baby! November '07 - 3rd trimester SUCKS! Baby shower coming up soon and I'm feeling like I've been attacked by a mob of trucks! Aches, pains, and the baby's harsh kicks! I'm gaining about 1 pound every week! I'm waddling!
I should read my Word Of The Day emails more often. This one had me laughing my ass off. hehe

I was shocked because I have heard this before... Not the lyrics but actually the beat of the song. And next thing you know I was humming - The Veronicas 4 Ever - Come on Baby, we ain't gonna live 4Ever/ Let me show you all the things/ we could do/ You know you want to be together/ And I want to spend the night/ with you/ with you-u-u/ Come with me tonight/ we can make the night last 4Ever/ oh oh.
With Pink's voice, U + Ur Hand is majorly in a lower key than 4Ever but as you can hear, same beat, same sound just in a much lower key. Pink's version is more angst ridden, showing how she won't put up with crap from men. She's a solo kind of girl, in control of herself and the world she's in. 4Ever is more of a teenage upbeat rock song really, telling how hooking up just for the night is right for both the guy and girl. woohoo.. promote One Night Stands.... yeah.[that was sarcasm people] 4Ever is just a live for the moment song. No consequences, no repercussions, and no regrets. carpe diem - live for just today and live it like it's your last.<br><br>
Funny, how at first I was pissed at Pink for basically being UNORIGINAL... I mean she did take the beat from a teenage girl rock group. That's just bad.... But listening to her version of the song... made more sense to me than 4Ever. I think because it's something that happens a lot. Guys talking shit and trying to get you hammered so he can take you home, feeling you up, making it look like they got game. That's not being a good guy. But with Pink, she's not going to put up with the shit. She's not gonna fall for it no matter how drunk she is. LOL. She knows the guy is just gonna go home alone tonight and with a black eye too.<bR><br>
4Ever is a great song too. But the whole live your life like it's your last by hooking up is ridiculous. I would want to do something better like conquer my worst fear than hook up with some random guy. But yeah, then that's just me. ^_^
